MY FIRST LOVE [ EPISODE FOUR ]

Getting Home. What Honourable Lafeunwa told us really cause a total period of silence in our House that day. Am sure Dad is no longer him self likewise my Mom. But for me I didnt even see it as anything or a big deal. Well, maybe I don't really understand what was happening. When it was around 9pm,my siblings and i have started sleeping. But things were not the same for Dad and Mom. I'm sure they were seriously thinking over what honourable told us in the morning in his House. Well, we were only using a Room and  parlour face me I face you apartment in one area in Agbaje street, Ibadan West Local Government, Oyo state Nigeria. Our own family was still better than some people's because we are neither rich nor poor. We still enjoyed three square meals. Well, sometimes our meal might not be as nourishing or tasty as we would have loved it,we never slept hungry. We were not rich but never begged for food.

It was night, so I could hear my parent's voice clearly from where I was. They are seriously debating on the matter in the sitting room believing everyone was already asleep but I wasn't. I was still preparing to sleep. I heard Mummy saying Daddy Adelola! we can never take that offer from that Man calling himself honorable, its seems he want to buy our conscience, what will the future hold for Adeola ? if peradventure we accept the offer, her future is at stake. Her future should be Paramount to us. It's her future we should think about the most.what if  she loses her life at the course of aborting the pregnancy.Accepting the offer will be like selling our daughter's life.Her womb can also get damage and might cause her have problems giving birth later,My husband,please let's be mindful of the risk we are about to take, lets reject the money, our daughter means more to us,she's our future. Remember she is our only daughter. Although we are not always satisfied but yet we aren't hungry at all we need to be contented with what we have. And I cannot afford to lose her likewise you am sure! We can always take care of her even without any help with the little salary we are earning.I know God will help us. My Dad quickly replied with Amen! in Jesus name.

Immediately my Dad said now I have a better idea of what we can do, we must collect that Money. He said and was smiling to himself. My wife, this is our way out of abject poverty we are almost in, believe me we are going to collect the money and return to him with a positive outcome that the Abortion is successful then we will all pack our things and relocate to a country that's far better, to begin a new and good life. Surely we will take care of Adelola and our grandchild, and others. When she give birth to the baby, we will adopt it as our own child.Nobody will know we are not the biological parent and this will not affect her marital life later in the nearest future. Mom smile and hugging Dad. I'm sure that is what she did after hearing what Dad said to her and she also said, "That is  why I loved you my husband ( Olowo Ori mi ) you are a man of wisdom my husband". Now they both agreed.
