BE PASSIONATE

We are never too old to sleep; never too old to find love; never too old to live right; never too old to learn; and never too old to be happy. Age is not a factor in the equation of our passion. Passion means more than love. It is love on fire. In fact, the root word for passion means "to suffer with". It means to love something so much you don't mind suffering for it. My mother used to always say, it is your passion that eventually kills you. When you are passionate about something, you don't see it as work -- you see it as a delight. Hence the popular saying, "Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life." Passion cannot be killed. At worse, it can only be neglected. Passion and passivity are mutually exclusive. In other words, you cannot be passionate about something and be dormant about it. There is a difference between something that is your passion and something that is your hobby. A hobby is like good music. You only dance to it because it's good. Passion is like a good dance, you can alter the movement to go with any rhythm. Better still, passion is music in your bones, causing you to dance to the dictate of its tune. Be passionate.
