I have a friend who was in a relationship.
It was obvious that her boyfriend wasn't in love with her anymore, it was obvious that what they had now was a little less than friendship.
Her friends begged her to ask where the relationship was going, but she was too scared because she might hear what would leave her devastated.
Her life was on a pause just because she was too scared to face the truth or to make that discussion.
She always ran away from it, always postponed it.
This happened for months until her friends took the initiative.
They dragged her to the guy and boom! He was already in another relationship.
He said "it has been over for me long ago.."
What Tinu did was postpone the pain that should have come and gone long ago.
Now she started tending the hurts she should have forgotten by now.
The only thing you are permitted to run away from is sin, fornication and their family.
You are not permitted to run away from anybody, from any discussion, from any opportunity, from any fear, any pain or risk. Any fight (not in the literal form now. They'll just break bottle on your head), anything at all!!
If you keep running away from things, you are just piling them up to face them later in the nearest future, and trust me, it'll be more painful by then.
It'll put your life on hold and make you lose opportunities that should have come your way.
Stop running away!!!
Have that discussion today.
Face that fear today.
Speak that truth today.
Nobody will beat you!!
God bless the special somebody who taught me the advantages of talking.
Feel the pain that needs to be felt now.
For sufficient onto the day is its evil thereof.
That means whether we like it or not,
tomorrow has its own happiness and hurts.
Stop enjoying only your happiness while you are doing balance brought forward for your hurts.
I pity you!!
One wise lady said something some days ago.
"I just want to enjoy life each day at a time. Let's see what life brings."
This lady's account will balance every day.
No balance carried down, so there'll be no balance brought forward.
You see, enjoyment sometimes should include the pain of the day too.
It'll all be worth it.
